== Initiative ==

Project Unicorn is an effort to support the education technology arena in adopting industry interoperability standards. By supporting and helping expand how interoperability is understood and implemented, schools, districts and states in the K-12 sector can connect their various applications and use their data more effectively. Project Unicorn is currently led by a Brooklyn-based nonprofit and is supported by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and InnovateEDU.
